What data we collect and why
Data you give us: When you book a Free AI Consultation, request an AI Audit & Roadmap, submit our contact form, or use our on-site consultation chatbot, we collect your name, email address, business details and any information you choose to include. We use this solely to respond to your enquiry and provide the services you've asked for. The legal basis is legitimate interest or, where you've engaged us for paid work, performance of a contract.
Data collected automatically: If you accept cookies, we use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use our site. This collects pseudonymised data including pages visited, time on site and approximate location (country/region level). IP addresses are anonymised. The legal basis is your consent, given via our cookie banner. If you decline, no analytics cookies are set.

How long we keep your data
Contact and consultation enquiries are kept for no longer than 24 months, or until you ask us to delete them. Analytics data is retained in Google Analytics for 14 months. Records relating to paid engagements (contracts, invoices) are retained for 7 years to meet HMRC requirements.
Who we share your data with
We do not sell your data. We share it only with carefully selected processors that help us run the business: Google Analytics (analytics), our email provider (replying to you), and our payment processor (for paid engagements only). We do not transfer your data outside the UK/EEA without appropriate safeguards in place.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to access your data, correct inaccurate data, request deletion, object to processing, restrict processing, request portability, and withdraw consent at any time. To exercise any of these rights, email hello@simpleai.uk. We'll respond within 30 days.
If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top will reflect any changes. Material changes will be flagged on the homepage for 30 days.
